We adopted Pickles from a local Petsmart. This wasn't the first time we had walked into a pet store to check out the available cats, but the previous times I was able to rebuff *girlfriend* Janice's pleas. It's not so easy to say "no" to one's *wife*. Janice fell instantly in love with Pickles, and within an hour we were driving him back to the apartment.
