Last year I described how Gisella Yaksetig (whom I began dating in the fall of 1997) and I were trying to rebuild a friendship after a summer of silence. We succeeded in regaining our friendship, but we still have some distance to cross before we completely renew our relationship. Meanwhile, my mother wonders often and aloud when she'll ever have a daughter-in-law and grandchildren. (Photo - 74KB)

Forgive me for ending this narrative on a sad note, but I will always remember 2000 as the year that our beloved cat Tigger died. A more affectionate animal and one with more personality you won't easily find. Her death deeply saddened me, and my memory of her will long endure.
