I'm still working as a Web Developer in Fairfax, although both my title and the company name have changed. In June I was promoted to a Technical Lead, and in July Wpage.com was renamed Active Matter. The new name signified a shift in corporate strategy from high-volume, small budget projects to low-volume, big budget sites. Thankfully, my job satisfaction remains high, and I'm still able to go to work dressed like a slob. While many of the dot coms have been dropping like flies recently (including one whose site I principally coded), Active Matter continues to thrive. I'm not programming for food just yet.
