May 10, 1945 (2 days after VE day) -- soldiers of the German garrison that occupied the length of the Quiberon Peninsula march north out of the territory. The Germans were there to man and protect large artillery batteries along the coast. On the right, 66th Recon troops prepare to enter the peninsula.
